DO WE REALLY NEED SMART CITIES

There is a large migration from rural areas to urban areas. This migration of people is increasing day by day. Around 75% populations will be living in cities, Indian don't have any expectation about this. There is an emerging need for the cities of India to get smarter so, it make an issue that’s call large scale urbanization. Smart cities can be defined as having basic equipments and infrastructure to lay decent quality of life.

First of all we need good infrastructure secondly we need smart solutions thirdly promotes development and many more points of aspects.

The main aim of constructing smart cities is to lay good infrastructure to residents of that city. For example water, sanitation, parks, cleanliness, basic facilities and so on. They should be of making city efficient and worthy of people. The main aspect is that the perfect and smart city will created by people of that city only. They should be grow up there knowledge and make there ears open every time.

Smart cities want smart solutions like everything should be computerized, everything should be done on E-commerce, electronic services, 100% treatment for all problems and so on. A smart city require development activities around them. such as developing schools, developing hospital, home delivery facilities, shopping malls, businesses, government and environment. The main of a smart city is housing for all. My more than 75% population would be living in cities by 2050. A standard of living is required because of this rising and migrating population towards cities. To live they want good infrastructure and better opportunities here. To support rising population we have to give rise to housing scheme for people. In big cities people have to built their own houses on the basis of their pocket. Many people want a place and can afford the place in smart cities and many of middle class and lower families’ do not get benefits of big and smart cities. Here in India there should be a proper use of fund. Many rich people are living in big cities but in smaller part and big is now also in the shadow of poverty. To be in a smart family.
I would definitely raise the standard of living, cost of land, cost of house rent, cost of travel, cost of education and schooling, which would make life of middle class people already living in these cities difficult. Smart cities are being constructed from the cities which are already developed, where people have the basic amenities like water supply, electricity, sanitation, education system. Concept of smart cities is about taking the modernization of the modern cities to a next higher level. Though its indeed a great move, but the benefits are however limited to the rich and elite class of the society.
People from small cities in India cannot afford living in metros because of higher living expenses. Similar will be the situation when a smart city comes up. Rather PM should focus on urbanization of the rural villages. It should be the first priority and would ensure more holistic development of India as a nation.
